Thompson School District (“TSD” or “District”) is committed to protecting your privacy.
This Privacy Policy applies when you are using a website with a tsd.org address and is guided by federal and state laws, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Student Data Transparency and Security Act. You should review this policy to be familiar with TSD’s methods of collecting and using your personal information as well as circumstances when TSD may share it. The Board of Education has adopted policy JRCB relating to student data privacy and security to establish clear expectations for how student personally identification information is used by TSD, the Colorado Department of Education, and vendors. The District also maintains a webpage that discloses a list of vendors that are subject to the District’s privacy and security policies.
Employees should review and are expected to understand and follow District policies for the use of the network, email, social networking, and internet use for TSD.
